As the new year dawned, mumineen — the members of Dawoodi Bohra Community followers of His Holiness Dr Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Saheb TUS greeted each other for the new year and requested for rememberance in their dua’s during Ashara Mubaraka — the 9 days of mourning from 2nd Moharram till 10th Moharram — to mark the martyrdom of Imam Husain AS in Kerbala.
Recently, I had been one of those who had ‘baland bakht’ to perform ziyarat of Imam Husain AS & Maulana Abbas AS in Kerbala and Maulana Ali AS in Najaf with Maula TUS.
